About me.

Hi, I’m Andrea Maniero and I live on the north-east Italy , and I’m an amateur astronomer . I love high resolution planetary imaging and deep-space imaging using a telescope, My main passion for astronomy started in 1980, My first telescope was a 114/900 Newton and I became interested in solar system astrophotography since 1981 .In September 2007 ,I have changed my telescopes Meade ETX125 and Celestron C9.25, and used a C11".

Due to an accident I broke the corrector plate of the Celestron C11, for not spending much money for his replacement, I decided to transform the C11 into a special telescope for planetary work , a Cassegrain-Dall Kirkamm of 280mm F/13.

Now I'm part of MaxProject team of Northek Optics and collaborate as amateur hi-res imager.
